When there is a plowable snow event, please make sure your garbage and recycle bins are not on the road or shoulder.  They should be put in your driveway no closer to the road than your mailbox post.  Our road maintenance people need to be able to clear the roads without having to worry about knocking over the bins.  Thanks for your cooperation.

The Pope Douglas Organics drop off site on the Ida Town Hall property is ready to use. Please use compostable or paper bags. NO PLASTIC.   Check the Alex Area Organics Recycling program on their website for instructions.
