Notice of Annual Meeting and Election of Officers

Notice is hereby give to qualified voters of Ida Township,  County of Douglas, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Officers and Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. In case of inclement weather the meeting and election may be postponed until Tuesday, March 20, 2012.

The Election poll hours will be from 12:00 p.m. (noon) to 8:00 p.m at which time the voters will elect:

One Supervisor, Seat B three-year term:  Candidate-Thomas Scearcy

One Clerk, two-year term:  Candidate-Barbara Kilgore

The Annual Meeting will commence after the closing of the polls and conduct all necessary business prescriped by law.

The Supervisors of Ida Township will meet as the Board of Canvass after the the closing of the Annual Meeting.

The Annual Election and Meeting will be held at the Ida Township Town Hall, 4700 County Road 6 NW, Garfield, MN.

Notice of Public Accuracy Test

In compliance with statute MS 206.83, there will be a Public Accuracy Test of the of the

electronic voting equipment that will be used in the March 13, 2012 Township Election.

The equipment to be tested is sthe Auto Mark. The public accuracy test will be held on

Friday, March 2, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ida Township Hall 4700 County Road 6 NW,

Garfield, MN.  The public is welcome to attend.
